Join us for a gravel ride at South Table Mountain. This will be a 7mi ride with 470ft elevation gain. Most of the climbing is at the start up to the top of the mesa (walk if you need, we'll gather up at the top), then the rest is mostly flat, smooth gravel. There is a single-track section and a few sections of exposed rocks that you can ride or walk as you prefer. Gravel or mountain bike recommended, this ride is not suitable for bikes with slick road tires or narrow hybrid tires. Class 1 and 2 e-bikes are allowed on South Table Mountain trails.
Start location is at the corner of Golden Hills Rd and Quaker St. There is free parking on Golden Hills Rd and in the surrounding neighborhood. There is also a small lot at the Fossil Trailhead 0.3mi west of the start location.
