Join our New York City All Bodies on Bikes chapter as we leave the wheels at home and venture on a hike!
Meet at 3011 Route 9D Cold Spring, NY 10516, where we’ll gather, do introductions, and begin our hike.
This route is steep for about the first 0.6 miles and there are a lot of rock scrambles but you will be rewarded with great views of the Hudson River and surrounding hills.
The trailhead is on the Westchester side of the Bear Mountain Bridge and there is only roadside parking.
The hike begins on the Appalachian Trail and bears right at the trail intersection. After about a mile you will reach Anthony's Nose. Past that there are two creek crossings and then the trail ends after passing Manitou Mountain.
